The Poly, Falmouth

First, and biggest one down, Ninoskika at the Poly.
The evening began with Tem producing a truly captivating and skillful performance, even by his incredible standards. He combined his minimal folk-tronic gorgeousness with spellbinding visuals he had created from archive footage, the most emotional moment involved a circus horse leaping from the high-dive into a pool of water. If the night had ended there, it would have been worth the money.
But it didn’t end, Zapoppin‘ followed with what was probably their best performance to date. A member of the Poly board of directors felt compelled to leave during their second song. Nothing more to say.
As for Ninoskika, we were rusty to be honest, having practiced just once since our last show in May. But we pulled through and played a set which we have to be proud of under the circumstances.
The whole night was a massive success so thank you to everyone at the Poly who put faith in us to deliver, I hope we did.
